The Story behind the Design

The Aria Floral Earrings explore the idea of feminine expression through sculptural form. Their organic silhouette draws inspiration from the gentle unfolding of petals, creating a design that feels both fluid and expressive.

The earliest concepts were developed through hand sketches using coloured pencils and ink on textured illustration paper. Soft shading helped shape the rounded volume of the form, while colour studies were used to explore the enamel fragments and the placement of Austrian crystals across the surface.

The sculptural curves create a natural sense of movement, allowing the earrings to catch light from different angles. Small enamel accents introduce texture and variation, giving the surface a subtle painterly quality.
