The Story behind the Design

The Aria Heart Ring reimagines the universal symbol of the heart as a sculptural object. Instead of a flat motif, the form becomes rounded and dimensional, allowing the shape to feel both expressive and refined.

The first concepts were explored through hand sketches created with soft graphite and pigment liners on warm-toned drawing paper. Gradual shading helped shape the domed surface of the heart, while coloured markers were used to study the enamel tones and the arrangement of Austrian crystals across the design.

The curved volume of the ring allows light to travel gently across the gold surface. Small enamel fragments and crystal accents introduce texture and variation, giving the piece a subtle sense of movement within the polished form.

Through this process the familiar heart evolved into a sculptural ring that feels both intimate and contemporary. The Aria Heart Ring captures emotion within a refined form — a piece designed to accompany the quiet strength of the woman who wears it.
