The Story behind the Design

The Ondara Bangle interprets the intricate formations of coral through a continuous sculptural composition. Its flowing elements move gently around the wrist, forming a rhythm of interconnected shapes that feel both organic and expressive.

The first concepts were developed through hand sketches created with mechanical pencil and soft brush markers on textured illustration paper. Fine line studies helped refine the movement of the coral-inspired forms, while layered colour tests explored the enamel tones and the placement of Austrian crystals within the structure.

Each sculptural element flows naturally into the next, creating a continuous surface that wraps around the wrist. The interplay between raised gold contours, enamel surfaces and crystal accents brings depth and light to the composition.

Soft rose enamel introduces warmth and softness to the design. Its colour enhances the sculptural relief of the coral shapes and creates a gentle contrast against the gold setting.
