The Story behind the Design

The Ondara Classic Ring captures the flowing structures of coral in a continuous sculptural form. Its organic surface moves rhythmically around the ring, creating a balance between structure and fluidity.

The design process began with exploratory sketches created using ink wash and coloured pencil on textured drawing paper. Tonal shading helped refine the proportions of the sculptural band, while soft colour studies were used to explore the enamel tones and the placement of the Austrian crystal within the composition.

The coral-inspired forms move seamlessly along the band, creating a sense of natural rhythm. At the centre of the design, the crystal introduces a quiet focal point, reflecting light across the sculptural surface.

Deep green enamel brings vitality and depth to the piece. Its colour enhances the organic structure while creating a vivid contrast against the warm gold setting.

Through this process the design evolved into a sculptural ring that wraps naturally around the finger. The Ondara Classic Ring translates the quiet complexity of coral into a refined piece of wearable design.
